The 2024 edition promises to be bigger, bolder, and more impactful than ever. Whether you’re a paddler, a spectator, or someone touched by cancer, this event is truly one-of-a-kind.
What Is Gilda’s Club Dragon Boat Festival?
Gilda’s Club Dragon Boat Festival is a community-wide race open to all skill levels, featuring over 40 dragon boats. Proceeds benefit Gilda’s Club, a nonprofit with chapters across the country that provides free emotional and social support to cancer patients and their families.
Named in honor of the late comedian Gilda Radner, who passed away from ovarian cancer in 1989, Gilda’s Club continues her legacy by supporting others with humor, compassion, and community.

Why Participate in Gilda’s Club Dragon Boat Festival 2024?
- Support a Life-Changing Cause
Funds raised support Gilda’s Club programs, including counseling, support groups, educational workshops, and social events — all offered free of charge. By participating, you’re helping provide a lifeline to thousands of cancer patients and their loved ones.

There’s something for everyone at the festival — whether you’re racing, cheering from the shore, or just enjoying a family outing:
- Food and drink vendors
